### Competitions

- American Mathematics Competition: AMC 8/10/12 are 90 min. multiple-choice individual tests run by the Mathematical Association of America. Top scorers are invited to take the AIME.
- American Invitational Mathematics Exam: AIME is a 3 hr. individual test for top AMC scorers. Each answer is an integer 0-999.
- USA Mathematical Talent Search: USAMTS is a three-round proof-based competition. Each round is one month long. Top scorers are invited to take the AIME.
- USAMO/USAJMO: The USA Olympiad is a proof-based exam for top scorers on AMC/AIME. It is also the qualifier for the IMO.
- Caltech Harvey Mudd Mathematics Competition: CHMMC is open to teams of up to six students. The contest has a group round and an individual round.
- San Diego Honors Math Contest: SDHMC is an individual multiple-choice and proof-based test held annually at UCSD.
- American Regions Math League: ARML is a national team-based competition. The regional team for SoCal is run at CSU Long Beach
- Princeton Univesity Math Competition: PuMaC is a team contest run by Princeton University students.
- Rocket City Math League RCML is a four-round competition run through Mu Alpha Theta.
- Math Prize for Girls An individual competition at MIT for aspiring female mathematicians.
